How do we get started?

When do I pay you?
While this varies by project, we typically collect equal payments at the beginning, midpoint, and end of each project. For web projects, any hosting or domain registration fees are due with the first payment.
That being said, we understand what it’s like to be a new business owner – we’re more than willing to work with you to create a payment plan that fits your needs. Send us a message and let’s get started!
Do I have to be located in New Orleans to work with you?
Nope! We work with clients in the US, Canada, and abroad. Although our team is based in New Orleans, LA, we are available to clients around the world.
How long will it take to complete my project?
Short answer: it depends. We typically shoot for 6-8 weeks for websites, or 1-2 weeks for most graphic or template design projects, but it really depends on the client and project specifications.
Slightly longer answer: Depending on how advanced your site is going to be, or how many pages/how complex your design project will be, whether you already have the content (text, photos, idea, etc.) ready, your ability to provide feedback, etc. all play a major role in how long it takes to complete your project.
How does web hosting work?
We host our WordPress sites on dedicated servers within our hosting account. We’ve done years of research and troubleshooting with dozens of hosting companies, but we’ve found that SiteGround is the fastest, most reliable hosting company we’ve worked with.
We will send you an annual invoice for the cost of hosting, or you can take advantage of our monthly maintenance package which includes free hosting, reduced rates for further work, and regular backups and updates by our team. Feel free to contact us for more info.
What if I'm not ready to spend a lot of money on my marketing?
That's okay! Marketing can be a big investment in your company's success, and we don't want you to feel uncomfortable with the amount you're spending. While our packages are competitively priced, we're happy to discuss a payment plan if that will make you feel more at ease.
Alternatively, we offer pre-made Canva templates that you can customize to fit your business with a FREE Canva account. Jordan Dermer
Originally from Central Florida, Jordan is a graduate of Eastern Florida State College, where she pursued a degree in Graphics Technology while still in high school. After making ends meet doing odd creative jobs for friends and family, Jordan found success building her own company. After moving to New Orleans in February 2020, what started as Tropical Business Solutions soon became Geaux Digital, and is now Magnolia & Co. Media Group. Jordan’s leadership and dedication to her team and clients alike is the heart and soul of Magnolia & Co.’s brand.
